breeding practices
We breed all our shepadoodle. doxiepoo and Dachshund pups for health, the temperament that makes for wonderful companions, coat, and color. We screen for health problems and do follow up with our customers, offering house-training tips to health advice. We provide a written health guarantee. Genetic diseases are guaranteed against for 12 months. we do not breed related dogs. i always want to be updated on the health of your dog. i dont strictly stick to a 12 month guarantee. i want your pup to have a long life with you and i want to maintain a strong breeding program.
is there a spay neuter contract?
Spay|Neuter required on all puppies at the proper age unless agreement is made between myself and buyer.
will my puppy have any vaccines?
They are de-wormed regularly and will be up to date on vaccinations before they go home to their new family. all puppies will have at least two vaccines before they go home.
do you ship puppies?
i no longer ship puppies but we may be able to meet you, deliver or you are welcome to fly in and back out with your pup.
how much is the deposit on a pup not ready to go home yet?
i ask for half down and the other half plus sales tax at 8 weeks of age
do you board dogs?
i do not board dogs but if the puppy is ready before you are i charge $60 a week to keep the pup for a short time ie a couple weeks.

what food do you recommend?
i like purina proplan chicken and rice puppy for large breed pups and Diamond naturals small breed puppy for small breed pups.
should i crate train my pup?
crate training is the best way to train your pup. while the pup is out of the crate assign someone to watch the pup when you see signs that he or she needs to potty take the pup out. they typically need to after naps.
what kind of maintenance does my puppy need?
yearly vaccines, monthly heartworm preventative, flea and tick preventative when present, grooming including pulling hair out of ears for doodles using ear powder. pulling small amounts at a time and rinsing ears with ear rinse, nail trimming, regular vet visits.
what does my puppy come with?
puppy will be clean, nails trimmed, ears cleaned and hair pulled, checked for hernias and teeth alignment, CKC or AKC registration papers, kennel lead, toy, small bag of food, shot record and labels from vaccines, 12 month guarantee in writing
